National Chicago data center service provider, CoreLink Data Centers, has announced the addition of Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of America to its client roster. The Schaumburg, Ill. property and casualty insurance company is the U.S. affiliate of Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company Limited, a major Japanese insurance company which, among other customers, maintains strong business relationships with Toyota Motor Corp. and Nippon Life Insurance Co.
The U.S. affiliate, which CoreLink will support from its Chicago data center facility, provides personal auto, home and umbrella policies through its Youtopia(TM) division in four midwestern states.
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of America's agreement with CoreLink reflects the company's confidence in CoreLink's suite of fully transparent services and relentless 24/7 support backed with a 100 percent Uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA) that guarantees continuous network connectivity. The insurer chose CoreLink after touring the company's Chicago data center, as well those of competing data center service providers in the region.
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of America executives were particularly impressed with CoreLink's ability to fashion a disaster recovery plan to protect valuable and sensitive business and customer data against the most malicious worms, trojans and viruses, while formulating procedures to quickly recover and repair lost data, said Mikitomo "Mickey" Ushijima, the insurer's corporate secretary.
